On Friday, September 23, 2011, My Good Mourning Place hosted its 7th Annual “Close to the Heart” Gala at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.

The evening was hosted by special guest Kent Wainscott from Channel 12. Music was provided by Elena Abend and Orlando Pimentel. Following dinner, our guests viewed a special video that was lovingly created by Sister Toni Gradisnik.

All proceeds from the event ticket sales, raffle and silent auction help us continue to provide free services to grieving children, teens and their families and help them heal like they deserve. The evening’s cocktails, silent auction, raffle, dinner, and program are always a big hit. We hope you’ll be able to join us for next year’s event!
