My Good Mourning Place would like to extend a warm thank you to all who participated or donated to our 1st Annual “Bowl from
the Heart”’ fundraising event. This fun, family-friendly event helped us raise more than $2,000 for the organization!
We
are already looking forward to next year’s event. Check back soon for more information on the 2nd Annual “Bowl from the Heart,” tentatively
scheduled for May of 2012.

1. How do I sign-up to bowl?
Team captains can register their team by calling our
registration coordinator at 262-994-6397, or e-mailing bowlfromtheheart@hotmail.com
2. How much is registration
fee?
Nothing – bowling, lineage and shoe rental are free! All we ask is that you raise a minimum of $100 in pledges and that
you bring all your pledges to the event on May 21st.
3. Is there a minimum age requirement?
No minimum age
requirement. As long as you can hold a bowling ball you can play!
4. Do I have to know how to bowl?
No previous
experience needed. Just come to the event and have fun.
5. Do you keep score?
The scores are done automatically
by the bowling machines. All scores will be based on nine pin tap. Pledges are not based on the number of games bowled
or the number of pins.
6. Can I pledge money but not bowl?
Absolutely! You can come watch the fun, participate
in the prizes and support your favorite team by donating your pledge to a particular bowler. Can’t make it to the event? You
can still contribute to My Good Mourning Place. Just mail your contribution to My Good Mourning Place, 4005 W. Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee,
WI 53215.
7. Can I have more than 6 bowlers per team?
We encourage a maximum of 6 bowlers per team so all teams
finish games at approximately the same time and can move on to the next game together
8. When are pledges due?
Please
bring your pledges to the event on May 21st.
9. What if I receive money after the Bowling event?
We gladly
accept money after the Bowl from the Heart event. Forward the money to either your team captain or to My Good Mourning Place,
4005 W. Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53215.
10. Can my friends and family bowl?
Sure! They can form a team and collect
pledges as well. Please have them contact our registration coordinator by May 14th.
11. Where does the pledge money
go?
All money raised in support of My Good Mourning Place goes directly to My Good Mourning Place programs and clients. For additional
information about our organization please visit our ‘About Us’ page at www.mygoodmourningplace.org.
12. Is food provided?
Food
and drinks from outside are NOT permitted in the bowling center. The restaurant and bar will be open all day.
13. Is my pledge
tax deductible?
Pledges raised for My Good Mourning Place are 100% tax deductible. Tax Receipts will be available at the event on
May 21st. Be sure to ask for one if you need it!
14. When will I receive my prize if I win?
All prize winners will be announced
at the event and prizes will be distributed that same day. For every $100 pledges raised you will automatically get a ticket
for the prize drawings. Additional prize tickets will also be available for purchase at the event.
